Lindley Software

Lindley Software provided printer drivers and other software for the H8/H89. William Lindley recently contacted me to let me know about their heritage products page, where they have their old HDOS & CP/M programs and announced their release into the public domain.

  • PC89Link
  • Diamond accounting package
  • Ultimate Driver
  • UPC (Universal Printer Character) Driver

Company Information

The company was started in 1980 by William Lindley at the age of 14 with help from his father Robert Lindley.

The company has gone through a few name changes: Lindley Software -> Lindley Systems -> The Lindley Company LLC.

As noted above, their software has been released into the public domain.
