The SEBHC Newsletter was published from August 1986 - ?? (at least Aug '93) by Leonard (Lenny) Geisler.
As official support for 8-bit computers began to fade, this group was created to keep these computers alive. Heath Company was bought by Zenith and many of the new systems came pre-assembled branded as 'Zenith Data Systems', or ZDS for short. By this time, the new systems were all IBM PC Compatible and they started to include Intel 80286 processors. H8/H89 users felt abandoned, and this was a way for them to stay in-touch with other users.
There is a Google Group with the same name. The members of the group are interested in preserving the history of these great computers. See SEBHC Google Group for more information.
Scans of the newsletters are almost complete. They are being posted in DJVU format. They were originally scanned to a PDF file and have been converted to DJVU to save space and download time. The DJVU files are 1/10th the size of the PDF files but are nearly the same quality. If you do not have a DJVU viewer, please search for DJVU in Google and install a viewer. You will be impressed.
